Damage & Insurance Reporting

Engine Maintenance Management Component Solutions Material Recovery Warranty Management Airframe Check Management Damage Reporting

Damage to assets inevitably occurs during operation and maintenance of an airline. Too frequently this damage isn’t adequately captured or recorded, denying the operator overall visibility of the impact on the organisation. Without this overview, management are denied important information that could directly impact decisions which could have regulatory and financial implications. In addition if the information is not captured, how can the airline/operator claim back what is owed to them?

As a solution EVS has developed an easy to use online system to capture and track Incident and Accident events from the moment of occurrence through to resolution, even if that resolution may be a maintenance event at a distant point in the future. With a tagging system allowing reporting and trend monitoring across variables such as fleet type, aircraft, airport or support vendor; the operator is assured of accurate, ordered and customisable information right to hand. Even in a “no blame” safety culture this can provide valuable guidance, for example to direct staff training or vendor contract negotiations.

For those damage events where an insurance claim is equitable, the required supporting information from incident statements and overtime sheets can be uploaded locally in real time and verified. This ensures all the information required by the insurers to honour a claim is captured as soon as it becomes available. For complex claims with multiple cost implications such as a service truck striking an engine, follow up flags and commentary ensure timely and smooth management of cost capture, claim submission and resolution.

With a fully functional standalone core system, the EVS Damage Reporting solution requires no additional hardware, software or licensing acquisition by the operator; and can be deployed with minimal configuration. Beyond the core, the system is fully customisable, and limited only by what information and data the operator is able to provide, allowing whatever level of integration with existing systems the operator requires.
